The Jazz Composers Co-op is open to established jazz Big Band composers looking to advance their compositional skills. There are a limited number of openings in the co-op workshop, but we encourage all who are interested to apply. All applicants must be 18 years or older.

Only recently written original music will be read. There’s absolutely a place for arrangements of existing works, however that is not the focus of the JCC. 

Excerpts of pieces you are working on that you want to check out are also encouraged. Take this opportunity for feedback on voicings, instrumentation, mutes, harmonies etc.
